When I saw and heard birds were nesting just outside our front door I was really pleased.
Today I have discovered that it is starlings that are nesting there.

This morning I mistook a starling for a blackbird.
The bird was high in a hedge and the yellow beak and black feathers seemed to point to it being a blackbird.

Blue Tit
Chaffinch
Coal Tit
Dunnock
Goldfinch
Great Tit

Sunflower hearts are a good alternative to peanuts.
