Some birds happily swing from branches of trees or hanging feeders to get their daily food supply.
Other birds including Dunnocks, Song Thrushes and Blackbirds look for food on the ground.
If they do fly to a bird table it’s usually one without a roof.
Chaffinches and sparrows eat from bird tables or the ground with equal ease.

We all have a habit of dividing birds into groups such as Garden Birds, Game Birds and Sea Birds.
Today in a field near our house all these groups of birds were present in a small area.
All sizes and colours were there from the large seagull .
