When I saw and heard birds were nesting just outside our front door I was really pleased.
Today I have discovered that it is starlings that are nesting there.
Starlings! The birds that sometimes take over the feeders and don’t let any other bird near.

A family of sparrows has been emptying the birdtable this week. These are two little fellows who have been fed by their mother outside my kitchen window.
