Have just heard that in Lancashire there are already blue tits and great tits using nest boxes.
I haven’t noticed any action in our nest boxes here, but the bird food is going down well every day and there is a lot of activity at my feeders.

It seems climate change is affecting the variety and number of birds in Britain.
The RSPB predict that the greenfinch will be in the top ten birds seen in the garden this year.

Feeding peanuts to birds is now thought of as a bad thing. I have just been told this, but I don’t believe that feeding peanuts to birds is bad!
Birds love peanuts.
It must be wrong to say don’t feed peanuts to birds.
