Hi Trish, like the blog, plenty of info. Must say the photo looks like your brother must have turned out a pretty decent bloke. The photo was taken at Castle Howard. The peacock feathers we collected when we used to stop off in Hovingham, at the Hall. We used to go to a woodland area about a mile from Hovingham and meet dads army pal Tom Dawson and his family
