Swallow chick safe in nest
It’s really miraculous to think that soon this bird will have the ability to fly miles round the earth. How do they do it when we intelligent humans need so much equipment to do the same thing.
Hi Trish, This photo (taken through the window, so slightly blurred) is a visitor that has been coming to our garden for a couple of days now and we’ve never seen one like it before. Hardly any markings, like a peachy beige, bit darker head. Any ideas please.? The nearest we can see in the book is the garden warbler but not convinced.
Am trying to help Geoff identify this bird. I just can’t figure it out. Does anyone have the knowledge to solve this puzzle?
Trying, unsuccessfully, to get a close up view -
Anyone any ideas?

It is great to see a red squirrel. We only get grey ones round here

Acrobatic squirrel
Hope you do occasionally get some birds at your feeders
I do envy people who can take such good photos.
I have been learning how to convert photographs so they can be put onto this website.
I have had a CD of Bird Photos sent by Dawn and am looking forward to putting them onto Bird Table News.
