Have just been topping up the bird feedrs and also been melting some fat and coating some bird seed and scraps and moulding them into fatballs. Have put together three different fatball recipies I use. -

Should we feed bread to birds? There have been some reports that bread is bad for birds and not very nourishing.
Bread is high in carbohydrates but lowish in protein.

Another way of feeding birds is to plant a variety of shrubs, bushes or even hedges. This is natural food for birds.
