It’s always lovely to see a Robin in the garden Tricia and so nice to see them brightening up our snowy gardens.
Poor birds, what a hard time they are having at the moment, they are eating me out of house and home!

Hi, They are eating me out of house and home as well. First think I do is put cheese and apple out, then other bird food. Filling up bird feeders keeps me fit but poor! We must be helping them though mustn’t we? I was wondering how all these birds survived the winter of 1947. It was worse than this and I don’t think people put as much bird food out as we do now. I don’t suppose bird food was as commercialised as it is now. Trisha
