Heated Water Bowls for birds!
I have 2 heated dog water bowls for all the birds that come to my yard every day, one in the front yard and one in the back yard.
It gets in the minuses, but these water bowls keep the water at 50 degrees so there is always fresh water every day this way for all the many beautiful birds. I refresh it every day.

They are something I have never heard of. I will have to see if I can find any. A Christmas present to myself!

Great idea, thanks so much! I am off to the pet supply store to get me one. A heated bowl that is, not a pet. No more fun watching the blue jays try to peck a hole in the ice skin on top of the bowl of water, but that’s ok.

I’ve never seen a heated water bowl here in England – but I will search I suppose the best thing to do it google it!

Right-o, Tish, Google it or, better yet invent it! How about a solar powered heated water bowl for birds and any other critters like dogs, cats, etc. A solar powered heated water bowl could work just like those solar powered garden lights. Any inventors or engineers out there looking for a project?
