Hi Trish, This photo (taken through the window, so slightly blurred) is a visitor that has been coming to our garden for a couple of days now and we’ve never seen one like it before. Hardly any markings, like a peachy beige, bit darker head. Any ideas please.? The nearest we can see in the book is the garden warbler but not convinced.
Am trying to help Geoff identify this bird. I just can’t figure it out. Does anyone have the knowledge to solve this puzzle?
Trying, unsuccessfully, to get a close up view –
Anyone any ideas?
The bird looks like a blurred image of a Dunnock
I thought it looks like a very pale Dunnock.
Shirley,
Perhaps that is what the puzzle was. It is a dunnock but a lighter colour than usual. Sorry there isn’t a prize for this!
You must have a lot of knowledge about birds.
Thanks. Trisha
