That is an interesting question. But humans are here and pigeons, seagulls, rats and mice can be pests if they are in the wrong place. We have had mice in the house and they breed so quickly you have to do something. There are so many rats in this country - that is not a good thing. Pigeons and seagulls - mmm not so bad if there are not too many of them. Grey squirrels do a lot of damage. They also eat birds eggs and nestlings. They have driven out the lovely Red Squirrel.
