I put this window feeder up for two reasons -

1. To see if I could bring birds right up to my window and get really close up photos of birds.

2. To see how people without gardens can feed birds.

There must be a lot of people without gardens who are interested in birds and I wondered if they fed birds and any tips they had.

I made the mistake of putting my window feeder on a window that is open to the elements. I have moved it to a more sheltered window where the rain can’t lash on it - as is what happened here -

I live in the countryside and the wind and rain lashes on that side of the house as it’s open to the elements. The window I’ve moved the feeder to is very sheltered. It is sheltered by a wall on one side and trees on the other. It will be better there.

A Peep into the Past - Bird Table News A Year Ago Today - A Cat at the Bird Table

At least a cat wouldn’t be able to get to  a Window Bird Feeder.  My window feeder is on the kitchen window, and a cat  wouldn’t be able to get to it.
