Blackbirds, robins and thrushes

This morning I have seen a lovely red breasted robin on my garden fence looking down at the ground feeder.
Then as I was throwing some scraps onto the lawn I came upon a thrush hopping on the grass. The thrush didn’t see me and I came quite close to it - I think this was because it was engrossed in what was underneath the grass on my lawn!
For a few days now I’ve seen a blackbird with some of it’s feathers scruffily pointing upwards. That is the only way I can think to describe it. The first day I saw this blackbird I thought maybe it had just come from the pond and it’s feathers were still wet. The second day I thought maybe it still had it’s fledlging plumage. Over these past few days i’ve decided I can’t figure it out.
The feathers pointing upward give this blackbird a scruffy appearance. It looks really silly. It doesn’t seem to stop the blackbird flying around. I’ve tried to get a photo of this blackbird but it never stays around long enough, or I see a glimpse of it inside the bird table where I can’t see it properly.
I suppose the most reasonable explanation is that it is a fledgling bird. Yet it’s plumage looks black and shiny.
