It’s really hard to get birdsong without the sound of wind in the trees. Apologies for the sound of the wind in the trees.

The mystery bird is possibly a coal or great tit, likened to a squeaky bicycle pump or a saw. I think it’s possibly a coal tit, as it is higher pitched and more ‘feeble’ than the great tit’s call.
Of course, I may be completely wrong…. you could compare your recording with the samples on the RSPB website.
Hi Clayts, Thanks for that. I have tried listening to recordings, but haven’t found one like it yet. We do get coal tits here. You seem to know a lot about bird song. Lucky you.
