Sparrows
Mar 4th, 2008 by Birdy Trish
Here’s a photograph of sparrows enjoying the day.
A minute or two before I took this photo they were flitting about feeding at my feeders.
Within the space of a minute I counted twenty birds at two of my feeders. Some were at the feeders some were waiting. I had to count quickly because they were flitting about. I’m sure there were more hiding in the hedge.
So it proves putting bird food out helps birds work, relax and play!
I took this photograph last Sunday afternoon.
Feed the birds!

I just bought my bag of seed last week, I need to get a new feeder though. I’ll be feeding them soon! Hope all is well.
Hi, Good to hear from you. I think all is well with me!
So glad to hear you’re starting to feed the birds.
If the birds don’t come straigh away don’t worry. They often are wary of new things and don’t find things straight away.
With me the only new bird feeder the birds came to straight away has been the meshed ground feeder.
Let me know how you come on. Trisha
