Bird food, Bird food, Bird food.
I’ve just had a delivery of my bird food. It should feed the birds for quite a few months. I bought a variety of bird food and here’s some information about two of the mixes that have just arrived. I should say that I have mine delivered because I live 6 miles from a shop. It’s just as easy to buy small bags of bird food from a shop.
BIRD FOOD MIX EXTRA
This is mainly for hanging feeders, but I do feed it on the bird tables
This mix can be fed all year round.
It is harvested in England and fresh this season
Extra is based on
- Black Sunflower which is one of the most popular seeds for garden birds.
The mix also includes
- Millet
- Oilseeds
- Cracked wheat
It’s freshly harvested and blended by experienced bird lovers.
Blue Tits, Great Tits, Coal Tits, Marth Tits, Long-tailed Tits, many finches and a variety of other birds love this mix.
PREMIUM BIRD SEED - Bird Food without the Husk
Premium Seed - the no husk feeder seed.
This is mainly for hanging feeders, but I do feed it on the bird tables
The mix can be fed all year round
Up to 40% home grown at Soar Mill Seeds and is always fresh
Premium is a blend of
- Peanut granuals and
- sunflower hearts
- Millet
If you don’t want husks left under the feeders this is a good bird food for you.
This mix will attract a wide range of birds including all the finches and Tits and Robins
Because no mess is left behind it’s very good for use over patios or decking.
If you are not sure about buying bird food then just buy a small bag of bird food. There are many choices and varieties.
