Bird Feeding is going well in my garden
Feb 7th, 2008 by Birdy Trish
Feeding Birds and keeping the bird tables and bird feeders filled up with bird food is going well at the moment.
I don’t have any of the problems I have had when magpies, rooks, pigeons and starlings ate all the bird food, not to mention the moorhens and the pheasants that visited and ate me out of house and home before I could stop them.
At the moment my garden is a little garden of eden for the garden birds. They have every bit of the bird food to themselves. The wind has stopped howling. The snow has stopped snowing. The sun is shining. The days are getting a little bit longer each day.
I managed to get a few photos of some of the birds as they flitted in and out of the meshed ground feeder. I put the feeder near the old bush because it gives shelter and I scatter some bird food nearby. Hope you like the photos

It took me ages to get these photos. I have about twenty more photos showing a bit of grass, a bit of a bush and an empty feeder - not one bird showing at all. Will try again tomorrow - if I have time. Mustn’t forget to grate some cheese for the Garden Cafe.
It’s goodbye from the blackbird, robin and chaffinch and it’s cherio from me.
