Slugs crawl into the slug trap, where they fall into a plastic bag, unharmed and without any stress. As there is no exit, the slugs stay there until they are lifted out of the trap in the bag, & disposed of, or released back into the wild.

Glad you found this trap. It is certainly bird friendly as there are no chemicals involved. When the slugs have been captured, they could be placed on the bird table - providing natural food!
