Early morning bird feeding
Sep 16th, 2007 by Birdy Trish
There’s a crispness in the air again this morning. I’ve been filling my fat ball feeder, the wire meshed ground feeder, 2 birdtables and one peanut feeder.
I’ve put a variety of food out. I do realise I can’t feed all the birds in the hedges, trees and bushes. There are just too many. I just don’t think the birds have realised it yet.
Chaffinches, Great Tits, House Sparrows, Tree Sparrows, Thrushes, Blackbirds, Pied Wagtails, Starlings, Pigeons, Doves, and others I don’t recognise. I luv ‘em all. They are all so frail yet so strong. Time for my breakfast now. Have a good day.

The frailty coupled with strength is what makes the birds so facinating to watch, isn’t it? Great to have you encouraging us to feed the birds.
What a variety of birds you have in the garden. Their many colours and sizes is great to see and their different calls and song is lovely to listen out for.
