A Cat at the Bird Table

It seems a stray cat was seen at the bird table last night. It’s a pity I can’t arrange for the buzzard to chose the cat as its prey. Life would be so simple if I could.
We have large, thick hedges, small bushes and trees that an abundance of birds call home. A cat can easily hide amongst the thick greenery and pounce on the unsuspecting bird.
A cat deterrant is what I need.
